She has worked with a variety of populations including chronic stroke survivors, breast cancer patients, pre and post-op surgical patients, recreational athletes and professional athletes.
Growing up as a competitive dancer, as well as playing a wide variety of sports both competitively and recreationally, Sarah has always had a passion for mobility, exercise and movement as maintenance for overall health, preventative and rehabilitative therapy. While at Queens working as a student therapist with the Mens Varsity Hockey team she developed a curiosity into the study of manual osteopathy. Manual osteopathy is a holistic approach to manual therapy that involves finding and treating the root cause of a problem to allow the body to function optimally and help heal itself. Sarah believes that the use of osteopathic techniques and methodology can provide a positive influence on one’s anatomy and physiology to help each individual achieve his/her goals and optimal functioning.
Outside of work Sarah enjoying spending quality time with family and friends, travelling and being active every day. She loves being outdoors, helping on her family farm, and is committed to living a healthy active lifestyle!
