Amanda Bolen is a Registered Massage Therapist at Discover Wellness in Orillia. She works with a team of RMT’s that offer a diverse variety of treatment types in order cater to the specific needs of each patient. People suffering from pain/stress/injuries/illness/etc, athletes of all levels, health-aware individuals, etc. are all welcome.
Amanda has worked in the healthcare profession since she graduated from CCMH in 2004. Besides being a massage therapist Amanda has taken many holistic health courses, which she has integrated into her treatment sessions, these courses include; reflexology, reiki, meditation, aromatherapy, energy balancing, etc.
Amanda has been a dedicated athlete her entire life. She has lead a very successful career in competitive hockey and also did very well in soccer. She has also spent many years coaching various teams at various levels. Amanda has combined her two passions and has worked as a sports trainer for various teams that she had played on as well as others that she just worked for. Amanda still participates in many sports but focuses more on doing so with her family.
Amanda is currently enrolled in the Education Program at Queen’s University in Kingston. Her focus of study is Technological Education specializing in Healthcare. She aims to be teaching Trades Healthcare in a Simcoe County high school by September 2020.
Amanda is a big team player that is very passionate about her work. She works hard at her given tasks and always dreams big. She loves spending time with her family especially outdoors and at the cottage.
